This game lured me in with a reasonable first mission away from the "That just sounds like fail" camp. Then proceeded to kill me six out of seven lives with some annoying mechanisms that would be called exploits in most games - only it was the AI doing it....

At some point I'd like to try the multiplayer... just for kicks. Everything's better with multiplayer.... right...?
Ninety-Nine Nights' lack of multiplayer is what killed that game at retail. Well, the biggest thing. So ... yeah. That's some pretty retardiciulous stuff though - Sleeves told me about the absurd exploitative nature of the "boss" fight when I was over there earlier today. Well, yesterday.
Yeah... there is a lot of ridiculous but the fact it has Splitscreen Multiplayer means I'll probably actually keep the game - at least long enough to try it. I really think a lot of the ridiculous could be mitigated with a second hand to work together with - as the AI is certainly not shy about having their monsters coordinate.
